simuladas do sensor Thematic Mapper (TM1-azul; TM2-verde;
TM3-vermelho e TM4-infravermelho pr{\'o}ximo). A banda TM4 obteve
a melhor correla{\c{c}}{\~a}o com os par{\^a}metros
biof{\'{\i}}sicos ({\'a}rea foliar, peso seco de folhas,
{\'{\i}}ndice de area foliar e biomassa).
fenol{\'o}gico do trigo.
caracter{\'{\i}}sticas deste dossel sejam fielmente descritas.
ABSTRACT: With the objective of collecting biophyisical and
spectral parameters to evaluate two canopy reflectance models
(Suits and SAIL), an experimental field of wheat (Triticum
aestivum,L.) was planted in Campinas (SP). The relations among
biophysical and spectral parameters (mesured and calculated by the
Suits and SAIL models) were analysed and, the adjust of the models
to the bidirectional reflectance factors in the wavelength between
400nm-900nm. Also the performance of the models was evaluated in
four simulated spectral bands of the Thematic Mapper sensor
(TM1-blue; TM2-green; TM3-red ans TM4-near infrared). The TM4 band
reached the best correlation with the biophysical parameters (leaf
area, dry leaf weight, leaf arca index and biomass). The TM3 band
was the one that reached the best correlation of the models Suits
and SAIL with the bidirectional reflectance factor measured at the
field and between the models in the both view zenith angle (0º and
30º). The models sistematicaly overestimated the bidirectional
reflectance factors in the both view angle configuration ,
indicating a trend. The models Suits and SAIL had similar
performance in the visible wavelenghts during the phenological
cycle of the wheat. Just in the TM4 band, the discrepancy between
the bidirectional reflectance factor measured and calculated by
the models was bigger in the Suits model. The Suits and SAIL
models can represent the bidirectional refiectance factor of any
canopy, since the canopy caracteristics has been reliable
described.",
